James is a security consultant with a background spanning systems integration, engineering design, and on-site delivery. This experience means he brings a practical understanding of how complex security systems operate in real-world environments. James has developed specialist expertise in Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) and Security Management Systems (SMS), leading the integration of access control, video management, intercom, duress, biometric, and specialist detection systems into cohesive and resilient security solutions.
Known for his technical curiosity, James enjoys working at the intersection of security and emerging technology. He thrives in environments where there is no established playbook, navigating complex integration challenges to deliver outcomes that are both technically robust and operationally effective. His hands-on experience across commissioning, testing, and live-site environments enables him to bridge the gap between design intent and operational performance, ensuring systems perform reliably in critical 24/7 settings.
Outside of work, James enjoys building and racing FPV drones, exploring remote areas to photograph the night sky through astrophotography. Whether working on complex security integrations or exploring the latest technological developments, James is driven by a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
